The 3* Goélia La Grande plage holiday residence, with outdoor heated pool, is made up of semi-detached houses and apartments located in Saint-Gilles Croix de Vie.
GOELIA LA GRANDE PLAGE HOLIDAY RESIDENCE
Our holiday residence is located 400m from the "Grande Plage" which stretches over 3.6km. You access it on foot via a footbridge accessing the large beach via the section dedicated to surfing (part of the beach called "la Passerelle").
The beach club (group sports, bouncy castle, trampolines...) is located on the Grande Plage and open in July and August. The beach is monitored in July and August.
1.5km from the complex, you will find all the port entertainment, shops, bars and restaurants, club, casino, and "Cinémarine" cinema.
On site, during your stay, whether in your apartment or in the small houses, you can enjoy the outdoor heated pool open from 04/04/26 to 19/09/26 then from 03/04/27 to 18/09/27, WIFI at the reception of the complex during its opening hours, outdoor car park and, with extra charge a sauna, whirlpool and continental breakfasts. A food truck service will be available within the residence on Monday evenings during the February, April, and October school holidays, and on Tuesdays during the July and August school holidays, between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM.

returned with the kitchenette clean (dishes washed and stored).
- Pets :
Small pets are accepted. Extra charge per animal to be paid on site of
€11/night, €49/week (€9/night fro stays from 1 to 4 nights, and €7/night from 5 nights, from 31/10/26). Please mention when booking (anti-rabies
certificate is mandatory). Attack and guard dogs are not allowed. 1
animal per accommodation only.

Arrivals: Saturday between 15:30 and 19:00. The hour of the provision of the accomodation can vary depending on the preparation of this one.
Departures: Before 10.00
Any arrivals outside these times must be agreed with the reception for the residence.
- Deposit: €250/accommodation. This deposit will be returned to you the day of departure after an inventory or by post within 8 days in the event of departures outside of opening hours.
- Tourist tax: Approx. €1.20/day/person over 18 (The decision can be altered at any time by the municipality). As this is a local tax, Goélia is not responsible for any changes.
- All your requests (floor, view, apartment no., etc.) will be taken into account as far as possible, but cannot be guaranteed.

In the heart of Vendée, just 17km to the south of St Jean de Monts and 30km from Les Sables d'Olonne, the marine site of St Gilles Croix de Vie is a resort with a family atmosphere that is very lively all year round. The port which carries out a circuit inside Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie itself, is the heart of this resort, historic headquarters of Beneteau sailing boats.
The estuary of St Gilles Croix de Vie and its marina with its 1000 spaces in the heart of the town, the shops andrestaurants along the docks and the old quarters, a fishing port, that is still active with a fleet of 66 trawlers, its numerous markets, the auction house, dunes and fine sandy beaches, traditions and events, make this seaside resort an ideal holiday location.
The beaches of Boisvinet and La Pelle in Porteau reveal rocks at low tide and invite fans of gathering seafood by hand (winkles, limpets, small crabs and prawns).
In the season, to the south of the large "la passerelle" beach, you are free to practise surfing, longboarding and kite-surfing , as well as sand yachting. In Aiguillon sur Vie, the 18 hole golf course awaits you for a swing on the green.
The country of St Gilles Croix de Vie offers holidaymakers a great diversity of natural environments: estuary, dunes, marshland, forests and wooded countryside, to be discovered on walks, by car or bicycle. The micro-climate and the light favour Mediterranean vegetation, and the sun is nearly always out there in summer.
One hour away by boat, the île d'Yeu will seduce you due to its wild coast, its cliffs and its wonderful cirques, as well as its long sandy beaches.
To be discovered in St Gilles Croix de Vie and the surrounding area: Les Marais salants de la Vie, La Bourrine du Bois Juquaud museum (home of the Maraîchins) in St Hilaire de Riez, the Moulin des Gourmands in St Révérend, Vendée Miniature (a lively village of 650 people) in Brétignolles sur mer, Atlantic Toboggan (water park), the vélo-rail in the station of Commequiers, a 10km walk on an ancient rail track, the Parc des Dunes with its 40 attractions for kids and grown-ups, the Puy du Fou near to Les Herbiers.

The resort's two beaches Boisvinet and Grande Plage offer supervised swimming, surfing, kitesurfing, sand yachting, sailing, sea kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding.
Together with Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez and Brétignolles-sur-Mer, a total of 32 km of coastline awaits you.
Fishing is also a popular activity: try family shore fishing, angling at Lake Jaunay or off the jetty, or sea fishing.
Numerous hiking and mountain biking trails allow you to explore rivers, rocky coastlines, and the Pays de Monts state forest.

Located 17 km offshore, the Île d'Yeu is a must-visit destination, featuring cliffs, coves, fine sandy beaches, and iconic landmarks such as the Old Castle and the Citadel.
Nearby, the Vie salt marshes, the Bourrine du Bois Juquaud in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez (3 km away), and the vineyards of Brem-sur-Mer (17 km away) are well worth a visit.

Le Puy du Fou—voted the world's best theme park in 2014 and located less than an hour and a half away—will delight visitors of all ages.
