The 3* holiday residence is located 100m from the shops, and 3 km from the Port de Douhet and the beaches of Plaisance and Gautrelle, accessible by a bicycle path from the residence.
La Palmeraie is an enclosed estate consisting of spacious detached villas. Each villa has a private garage and 2 adult hybrid bikes, except 4 villas having a private car place (and 4 hybrid bikes, to be confirmed by the residence, subject to availability).
On site, you will find reception, outdoor heated pool and a children's pool (open from 04/04/26 to 19/09/26 then from 03/04/27 to 18/09/27) and a launderette (extra charge).

returned with the kitchenette clean (dishes washed and stored).

Small pets are accepted. Extra charge per animal to be paid on site of
€11/night, €49/week (€9/night fro stays from 1 to 4 nights, and €7/night from 5 nights, from 31/10/26). Please mention when booking (anti-rabies
certificate is mandatory). Attack and guard dogs are not allowed. 1

Arrivals: Saturday between 15:00 and 19:00. The hour of the provision of the accomodation can vary depending on the preparation of this one.
Departures: Before 10.00.
Any arrivals outside these times must be agreed with the reception for the residence.
- Tourism tax: €1.65/night/adult (The decision can be modified at any time by the Municipality). This tax being a local tax, Goélia is not responsible for any modifications.
- Deposit: €250/accommodation (to be paid on site).

By car
A6 Lyon, then A10 direction Nantes / Bordeaux, exit 33 (Rochefort / la Rochelle) to Rochefort. Direction Marennes, then take the free Oleron Viaduct to access the island of Oleron, then direction Dolus d'Oléron.
At Dolus d'Oléron (Intermarché roundabout), go in the direction of Boyardville, then Sauzelle and then St Georges d'Oléron. At the first intersection in St Georges d'Oléron, turn right, direction Le Douhet, Plaisance. The complex is located at 200 meters, on your left, on Rue de la Plage.
By train
Gare de Rochefort, then coach bus to St Georges d'Oléron.
By plane
Airport of La Rochelle, Saintes train station then car rental (Europcar advised because there is an agency on the island of Oléron).
Station
St Georges d'Oléron, the largest of the towns on the island (4600 hectares) has two coastlines, in the East and in the West, surrounded by 15km of fine sand. The most renowned are Plaisance, Gautrelle, and Sables Vignier. Two marinas (Le Douhet and Boyardville), and a village (St Georges-Cheray), built around a Roman church from the 11th century and the indoor markets of the 19th century, make up the heart of the resort.
To be discovered on the island of Oléron: the spa centre in St Trojan, a traditional fishing port in Cotinière with its auction house, public 9 hole and 6 hole beginner golf course in St pierre d'Oleron and the animal and bird park in Saint Pierre. Also enjoy numerous sea trips, with guided excursions (sailing boats, catamarans, motor boats, old sailing ships, trips to Fort Boyard, La Rochelle, the île d'Aix), and oyster-farm and Pineau cellar visits.

The casino welcomes you every day from 11:00 to 02:00 in the morning from Sunday to Thursday and until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays.
In the town, within a radius of a few kilometres, you can practice the following sports and leisure activities: jet-skiing and water skiing, scuba diving, horse riding centres, sailing and windsurfing schools, and sea kayaks, microlight, tennis club of Cheray, mini golf and bicycle and scooter rental.
The "Littoral express" shuttle ensures the Boyardville-La Rochelle connection several times per day from April to November.
