Our 3* Goélia le Domaine des Nouailles holiday residence is located in the heart of the green Périgord, in Nontron.

GOELIA LE DOMAINE DES NOUAILLES HOLIDAY RESIDENCE

Goélia Le Domaine des Nouailles is a holiday residence located in the heart of the Périgord Vert, 3km away from Nontron and shops in a wide landscaped park. It lends itself to all your desires: relaxation, cultural tourism, green tourism, sports activities... and has the advantage of being pedestrian (large parking at the entrance).

Over there you will find : outdoor heated pool (15m x 6m - depth 1.10m to 1.80m) open from 12/04/25 to 20/09/25, sauna, playground area, petanque court, lake where you can do some fishing - no bathing -, a beachvolley pitch, departure of hiking trails including one to the center of the city (bicycle path). Breakfast room (booking the previous day).

Sports animations teenagers-adults from 05/07 to 30/08 : some tournaments will be offered (petanque, volleyball, badminton) and you will be advised for your walks around the lake and in the region. Kids club 6-10 years from 05/07 to 30/08 (5 half-days per week).

A car is necessary.

OUR ACCOMMODATIONS FOR YOURHOLIDAYS

The holiday residence consists of semi-detached duplex apartments and chalets (including 2 terraced apartments) on stilts.
Our accommodations have a fully fitted kitchen (vitroceramic hobs, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, electric coffee maker and toaster, refrigerator), a bathroom (bath and sink), WC. Covered patio with garden furniture. None of our apartment has a lake view.

Some chalet has a nice lake view (extra charge of €50 per week).

IMPORTANT:
You must never exceed the maximum number of people authorised in the accommodation. For safety reasons, we will be required to deny you access (even if it is a baby).

Welcome to the Green Perigord, the green part of the Dordogne department! The department of 1001 castles is an ideal destination to discover with family with young children or friends because it offers many possibilities of activities, leisure and discovery. The very unspoilt nature constitutes a vast playground for lovers of walks with its very dense network (582 km) of marked hikes to walk, by bike or on horseback, swimming (supervised leisure bases, rivers, etc.)activities, whitewater activities (kayaking or canoeing down rivers), thrills (rock climbing, caves, speleology) and unusual activities such as finding gold in a small river with a small sieve.

The important historical heritage with its manors, its majestic castles built between the 12th and 17th century, its numerous villages and cities of character such as Brantôme, the «Venice of the Périgord» and the city of Bourdeilles will delight art and history lovers. The must-see markets in the Périgord: traditional markets and markets for local producers, nocturnal and festive, will allow you to discover and taste the authentic products of the Périgord. Crafts in the Périgord Vert, more than 300 workshops and companies create or restore beautiful and useful exceptional pieces, discover their diversity and creativity.

In the heart of the Périgord Nontronnais and the "Parc Naturel Régional Périgord-Limousin", Nontron is a small cutlery town built on a hillside overlooking the Bandiat valley. It is famous for its knife «the Nontron» whose tradition dates back to the 17th century and its "Knife Festival" taking place every year in August. You will be seduced by its landscapes with Tuscan sweetness, its Garden of Arts, its numerous rivers, its half-timbered houses and its markets.

Nontron, labellised "Ville et Métier d'Art» and an essential stage of the Route des Métiers d'Art in the Périgord Vert, push the door of the workshops and discover the creativity of craftsmen, and why not take advantage of your stay to introduce you to crafts? Many workshops or courses are offered, for young and old, novices or amateurs already initiated. The "Centre Expérimental des Métiers d'Art" (PEMA) of Nontron and the Périgord Vert, located in the Château de Nontron, presents numerous thematic exhibitions and organizes courses and internships in crafts for the general public.

In any case, the accommodation must be returned with the kitchenette clean (dishes washed and stored).

- Pets : Small pets are accepted. Extra charge per animal to be paid on site of €10.50/night, €49/week. Please mention when booking (anti-rabies certificate is mandatory). Attack and guard dogs are not allowed. 1 animal per accommodation only.

- Wellness area access (sauna) : €14 for 20 min solo session - €21 for 20 min duo session / €11.50 for additional person with a maximum of 6 people (access prohibited to minors unaccompanied by an adult and to children under 16).
