"Our establishment is committed ..."
Member of the National Syndicate of Tourist Residences and Aparthotels, GOELIA undertakes to respect the "health guide for tourist residences, clubs and holiday villages in the context of COVID-19", approved by the Ministry of Labor and allowing the affixing on our windows of the logo "our establishment is committed".
This Charter, aimed at the protection of holidaymakers, employees and outside workers, will apply to everyone until further government order.
Consult the charter in its version of 20/06/2020. Click here.
Below we summarize the essential points, as well as the measures taken by GOELIA to ensure maximum protection for holidaymakers in its residences. See also the COVID-19 INFOS tab of each residence where, in addition to these general measures, specific information by station or residence may be specified.
For example, mountain professionals summarized their common commitments in an infographic: Click here to view it.
We have made every effort to ensure that your holiday is safe. This safety is the concern of all, and the respect of our Health Charter depends of course on the civic spirit of all. For this reason, we reserve the opportunity to report to the authorities any serious breaches of the standards applicable to our activity, in order to request their intervention in the event of incivility of an individual or group of persons, with a view to their expulsion from the establishment.
In each establishment, we have designated a REFERENT COVID-19. Its role: ensure compliance with and updating of the Health Charter, and in particular ensure training of employees, information of holiday-makers and external stakeholders on the measures deriving from this Charter, alert the authorities immediately in case of suspicion of COVID-19 (fever, cough, respiratory embarrassment, loss of smell or taste) This reference will make available to holiday-makers an available frontal thermometer at reception.
Receptions and common areas of our establishments
We must respect a minimum time interval between two stays. Respect the new opening times of our receptions. Arrive from 4:00pm (not before) until 7:00pm. If we have early check-in possibilities, following early check-out, we will send you an SMS.
You will be welcomed by our staff, behind reception desks protected by a plexiglas wall. Our staff will wear a mask (behind which you will be greeted with a big smile!). Some of them will have face masks, blouses, gloves, according to their professions.
On the ground, markings of directions and distance.
In the reception area, near the lifts and possible meeting places, water-alcohol gel is available.
In common toilets, the use of hand dryers will be prohibited (STOP-COVID logo 19).
In our receptions, there may be fewer seats, and the traditional waiting area for children will be removed. These areas will be aerated to the maximum depending on the climatic conditions. A trash can can be ordered at the foot of our establishments for the collection of masks (they are not biodegradable, please do not get rid of them in the wild).
Remember to bring your own pen to make the necessary arrangements. In order to make the welcome more comfortable, we suggest that you pay by CB, before your stay, certain additional charges (bed linen, towels, pets, visitor's tax, etc. ), or send us the necessary information to prepare your invoice.
"Disinfection rounds" will be conducted daily by our teams in the common areas. Due to government standards, you will have to wear a mask in the common reception and traffic areas (reception, corridors, elevator bearings, lifts covered). Children under the age of 11 are free of charge. Outside, the mask is only required if the safety distance is uncertain.
In your accommodation, upon arrival and during your stay
The accommodation will have been completely ventilated, cleaned, disinfected. However, in each apartment - or they will be offered to you upon arrival - you will find a container of gel or virucid product (please do not bring the container when you leave), as well as an unused sponge, in plastic bag. Also 3 dishwasher tablets if you want to wash with a 60° program.
You will not find some of the usual services of GOELIA residences: for example, the booklet of advice and recommendations that we traditionally put in each house (it will be available as a reception in plasticized and/or digitized version), book loans and board games, and we will remove the bedspreads from decorative beds.
In your accommodation, when you leave
Before the health crisis, we offered an "end-of-stay cleaning" option for an additional fee on request. This option will not be proposed (for health reasons and until further notice) during the 2020/2021 season. You will therefore have to leave the premises in perfect condition, and follow certain specific instructions, to enable the completion of quick departure site reports, then thorough and specific disinfection interventions, allowing our verification, cleaning and disinfection teams to intervene in optimal security conditions.
If the weather permits, you will have to air your accommodation before and after the state of the place. Accommodation needs to be clean and tidy, bins and vacuum cleaners, cleaned kitchenette, cleaned and stowed dishes. In respect for our cleaning teams, we thank you for paying special attention to the toilets and bathrooms. Bed linen, blankets, on the one hand, towels on the other hand, if they have been rented from our services, will have to be placed by you in specific bags that we will give you. The pillow cases and paper bays (if applicable, if there are no alms), will have to be evacuated with your garbage. The beds will have to be presented with their small fabrics, blankets or duvets, pillows without mattresses. The sofa beds or sofa seats, if used, will be presented in the same way, cover unfolded on it.
We will give you a drawing illustrating very simply these few procedures, which are imposed on us by the Health Charter of the Tourism and Holiday Villages, approved by the Ministries of Health and Labor. Click here to view it.
The swimming pools and well-being areas
We will implement the recommendations of the High Public Health Council, reducing the maximum allowable use of beaches and ponds. One of the few certainties that scientists have about COVID-19 is that it does not resist chlorine. Our swimming pools are and will all be open (except in exceptional cases: possible decision of GOELIA, of the Syndics de Coownership, or of the Regional Health Agencies, which you would be informed of before your stay, or, during your stay, momentarily, if the health parameters require it).
Existing domestic regulations, as well as physical distances and barrier gestures, will have to be respected. The general rules for physical distance apply to swimming pools: a minimum distance of 1 meter must be respected between individuals, in the basin or on the beach, except for persons of the same family group (the family group is limited to 10 persons). The rules of citizenship will have to be strictly observed, as violators may be denied access to these relaxation areas. Bring a hydro-alcoholic gel (handling of the access gate, shower taps or a digicode for the covered swimming pools). The maximum capacity will be limited and displayed at the entrance of the basin. If maximum use is reached, we are likely to set up a schedule of use, for example half days, with delivery of color bracelets.
We took the decision to remove the deckchairs for hygiene and safety reasons, so that we could easily disinfect the beaches, but you can bring your towel, a cushion belonging to you, or a folding chair. For the indoor swimming pools, the communal changing rooms will be closed, so we ask you to enter these areas in a bathing suit. In addition, saunas, hammams, whirlpool baths and showers will probably be closed because the health authorities have highlighted the particular risks of transmission in these spaces.
Baby swimmers will have to be wearing swimsuits. In the children's pools, adults accompanying the little ones will have to wear a mask in case of promiscuity with other parents. Special arrangements will be made for the fitness rooms with, for the smaller ones, possibilities for private hire (reservation by appointment). Users will be required to carry their own towels and disinfect the devices used before and after use (provided by GOELIA with virucidal products and paper towels or wipes).
