Located on the Col de la Croix de Fer route, Saint Sorlin d'Arves is a delightful Savoy village, easily accessible via the motorway or the TGV train from St Jean de Maurienne.
The High Mountain town is located between the massifs of Belledonne and Les Grandes Rousses and reaches 1450m to 3464m at the summit of the Pic de l'Etendard.
You will find all the shops and services there, as well as convenience stores, restaurants, a pub/nightclub, a museum and a cinema.
Fans of walks and hikes, thrills seekers, those who love leisure activities and relaxation, in Saint-Sorlin everyone can go at their own pace. The activity options are varied and allow you to move around in an exceptional natural setting.
A cycling hotspot, the climb of the Col de la Croix represents a challenge often taken up by the sprinters of the Tour de France.

On site, in a unique and calm setting, activities accessible to all : 18 hole mini golf, ponies, donkeys, horse-drawn carriage, BMX track with ramps, bar, ice creams and grill restaurant, themed evenings, pool table, table football, darts, trampoline, games for children, bouncy castle.

Via the A 43 motorway, Lyon Chambéry Turin. Take exit 27, Saint Jean de Maurienne, then follow the "Vallée de l'Arvan" signs and then Saint Sorlin d'Arves.
Beware, the Col de la Croix de Fer pass is closed in winter and the GPS does not show this.
In summer 2 other access routes are also possible:
Via St Marie de Cuines, A43 motorway, exit 26, then take the D927 in the Col du Glandon direction and the D926 in the Col de la Croix de Fer St Sorlin d'Arves direction
Via Isère Col de la Croix de Fer via the Col du Glandon and the Col de la Croix de Fer.

Saint-Sorlin-d'Arves is a prime destination for cycling, featuring legendary Tour de France mountain passes such as the Glandon, Croix de Fer, and Mollard. The family-friendly "Trois Lacs" (Three Lakes) hike starts at the Col de la Croix de Fer and leads to the Bramant, Blanc, and Tournant lakes at the foot of the Étendard glacier.
