Activities at the Batz-sur-Mer resort
Sports activities
Follow the customs officers’ path along the Côte Sauvage to discover beaches, coves and unspoilt flora and fauna.
Water sports, shellfish gathering, tennis, the riding centre and mini-golf round off the range of sporting activities on offer.
A multi-sports pitch and tennis courts are also available on site.
Heritage and cultural discovery
You can explore the salt marshes of Batz-sur-Mer by horse-drawn carriage, with a guide or a salt worker, to gain an insight into this ancient harvesting technique dating back to antiquity.
The Salt Marshes Museum, meanwhile, traces the history of Guérande salt through works of art and collectable items.
Admire the town’s iconic landmarks: the church and Saint-Guénolé Tower, the Notre-Dame-du-Mûrier chapel and the Moulin de la Falaise.
The Grand Blockhaus Museum, a genuine command post from the Atlantic Wall, offers a unique experience in Europe.
The Croisic Oceanarium, with its 4,000 specimens, will delight visitors of all ages.
Leisure and shops
A multi-sports pitch, pétanque, beach club, mini-golf, play areas and massage treatments are available on site, and there is also access to Le Croisic’s leisure facilities, just 5 minutes away.
The resort offers a wide choice of restaurants in a variety of styles where you can sample local produce, whether with a sea view or in the heart of the salt marshes.
