The takeover of the tourism division of the NEMEA Group (which has chosen to specialise in the management of urban serviced residences) expands GOELIA’s range of tourist destinations (Basque Country, Arcachon Bay, Pyrenees, Saint-Malo, Les Sables d’Olonne, Serre-Chevalier, etc.), with a range of tourist residences and standardised services.
This external growth operation, the first in GOELIA’s history, is recognition of the work accomplished over nearly 25 years by teams passionate about tourism, close to their customers and partners, both at GOELIA and NEMEA, two family businesses built brick by brick, one establishment after another, and testifies to GOELIA’s expertise in holiday residence management.
With more than 100 holiday residences now managed in-house in France, nearly 150 including our partnerships abroad, and 420 full-time equivalent employees, GOELIA is further establishing itself as a major player in seasonal rentals, mindful of the economic impact of its activity on the regions, in tourist residences where guests are welcomed by a team that is on hand throughout their stay.
Our ambition remains unchanged: to offer high-quality holidays in friendly residences and unique tourist environments, each region and resort offering something different, where every holidaymaker is welcomed with the aim of building their loyalty to a way of enjoying their holidays in complete independence… but with a more pleasant human touch than that of a key box.
This growth is therefore in line with our commitment to helping people discover the extraordinary diversity of our tourist regions, while preserving the GOELIA spirit: rigorous management, presence and friendliness… always with the ambition of offering you ‘moments of happiness’.
