Casteljaloux is a large town of Lot et Garonne mainly dedicated to tourism, with 100 shops open all year, 3 supermarkets, all the services, a cinema, arenas (feria on 4th, 5th and 6th August), sporting facilities (18 hole golf course, 6 tennis courts including 2 on clay).

Casteljaloux benefits from two exceptional assets: firstly, the Clarens lake, a 17 ha lake with a natural fine sandy beach, directly next to which the Goélia complex is located.

Secondly, a thermal spring which has allowed for the recent creation of a very high quality modern fitness institute (Les Bains de Casteljaloux).

Located in Bordeaux and Toulouse and easy to access, Casteljaloux is the ideal starting point for numerous touristic walks, between Landes and Dordogne, in a country with a great gastronomic tradition (foie gras, Armagnac, confits, farmer's markets).

2km from the centre of Casteljaloux, the lake of Clarens is the important centre of the leisure centre notably including several white sandy beaches (one of which is monitored), an 18 hole golf course , 2 tennis courts, the "bar de la plage" (a musical snack bar open in the season), a beach volley court, playgrounds for children, picnic tables, hiking routes, upon which you can also cycle, a horse riding centre (rides and courses, horses and ponies). In summer, with an extra charge, there is paint-balling and a tree top adventure course. As a 2nd category ranked fishing area, you can also practice this hobby there all year round.

You will also find a casino (slot machines, gaming tables) a stone's throw from the complex with a musical stage and a restaurant area.

The access :

By aeroplane: Agen airport (50km) or Bordeaux (100km).

By road: 675Km from Paris (650km of which is motorway), 100km from Bordeaux, 160km from Toulouse. A10 PARIS-BORDEAUX motorway then Toulouse-Pau-Agen direction, exit 5 Marmande-Casteljaloux. From Toulouse, A62, go past Agen, then take exit 6 Aiguillon- Casteljaloux.

By train: SNCF train station of MARMANDE 20km away.
