A pleasant family and pedestrian resort very easily accessible via the motorway of La Maurienne.

La Norma offers day care for children from 18 months to 6 years old("Les Lutins" info. on 04 79 20 41 02) and Jardin d'Enfants at the foot of the Goélia complex with supervision and reserved ski area (ESF booking advised on 04 79 20 33 10).

Sport and leisure activities: The ski area stretches over 700 hectares, from 1350 to 2750m and includes65km of slopes, 14 ski lifts, 27 slopes (2 black, 11 red, 7 blue, 7 green), as well as a sledging area reserved for children. Le Domaine de la Norma ensures perfect snow conditions with over 121 snow canons allowing for 80% coverage of the ski area. Night skiing on Thursdays. Diverse snow activities:  x-bike (descent in the snow on a mountain bike)...

Bus connections with the ski area of Valfréjus (or over 115km of slopes in total). Extreme thrills: carving, snowboarding, snowblading, snowpark, freeride, snowshoe walks, guided hikes, treking with sled dogs, surfing courses, héliski (special day: helicopter drop off then descent outside of the supervised slopes) information at the tourist office of La Norma.

You will find all the shops and services at the resort (12 restaurants, cinema, club, pub, games rooms, etc.).

By train: Via TGV connections La Norma is 4 hours from Paris. All year round TGV trains like the Paris-Milan and the Lyon-Milan serve Modane. A regular coach connection ensures the connection between the SNCF train station of Modane and La Norma 6km away, Transavoie Autocars = 04 79 05 01 32

By road : A43 No. 30 Modane exit, the resort is 9km away, Haute-maurienne direction via the RN6. La Norma is 6km away from Modane, 215km from Lyon and 105km from Chambéry.
